The ecm4u Folder Cover Templates module displays important information for the user directly in the header of an Alfresco Share folder. This can be, for example, a summary of a folder hierarchy including links or properties of parent folders. With Alfresco's Webscripts support there are almost no limits to the functionality and design!
A Folder Cover Template is displayed in the context of a folder. By including external sources, current context information can be displayed at a glance. The use of Web technologies to create the templates enables simple structuring using HTML elements such as headings, links, or tables.
With the ecm4u Folder Cover Templates module, users get all the important information of a folder at a glance. By using Alfresco's webscript technology, further data can be aggregated and displayed in addition to the folder metadata. For example, it would be possible to analyze a folder hierarchy including links or properties of parent folders. There are almost no limits to both functionality and design!
Users no longer have to take the detour via the details view of a folder in order to see its metadata. Instead, the Folder Cover Template is automatically displayed at the folder's header.
A Folder Cover Template is activated on a folder either directly by the user via Alfresco Share or automatically via rules. Here especially the ecm4u Filing module can be helpful!
The license allows installation on a production Alfresco repository with up to 2,000 registered users, a standby, test and development system.
The purchase price includes one year of software maintenance (updates) and support on the module via ecm4u support. After one year, 20% of the list price per year will be charged.
